Craft Show Wrap Up :: IndieSacramento May Market

Vended at IndieSac May Market yesterday with a promise from the weatherman that there would be only a low chance of rain and overcast skies.

 

Well, the skies opened up and rained throughout the entire event without pause. But the promsie of some awesome swag bags brought out the peeps and we had a very decent crowd considering the weather.

Luckily we had a tent, so although we were soggy, we didn't get soaked.

 

My hub is my biggest fan and therefore the best salesman I could imagine. I am not exactly shy, but I don't sell myself well...too self depricating I think. But Billy did an amazing job selling my wares and it gave me a chance to wander around the show, which was fun!

We sat next to our friends The Guess Family of Little Brown Box. Jack and Audrey got to keep each other company under the tents.

 

Here's Tom Guess selling away while Jaymi took the kiddos to the playground in Freemont Park.

 

And a good time was had by all!

Etsy Love :: Pretty Pink Rooster Vase

My roses are blooming and I just don't have enough vases to put them in!

Something about it made me happy...I can't wait to get it and I scored it for $7! And even though I am super broke, I decided to secretly buy it. Shhhh...don't tell my hub!

 

I love the laziness of thrifting on Etsy...especially when it's swine flu season* and going out shopping is low on my list.

*please know I am not serious.

Amigurumi Lessons :: What do you want to learn first?

 

I'm finally going to start doing Amigurumi tuts! Being the democratic minded girl I am, I wanted to get your opinions on what the first lesson should be!

3. yarn weights
4. starting ring
5. reading patterns
6. finding your right side

We had dinner with the Little Brown Box fam at thier super cute house on Saturday Night. Jack is smitten with thier little daughter Audrey. This is them riding around in her super cute pink mustang.
